Looking for a job? Here's a few helpful tips to get the job you've always wanted!
The Lucky 13
1. Join an academic club that is focused on role play scenarios and business education. DECA and FBLA are internationally knows organizations that allow you to win awards and prizes for showing off your business skills. Becoming an officer and competitor in these clubs look extremely impressive on your applications and resume's.

2. Volunteer in your community.
3. Start creating a strong reference list.
4. Work on your elevator pitch. This is a 30 second speech about why you are a good worker. Practice it often!
5. Video tape yourself talking to somebody. Look for verbal and non verbal gestures.
6. Be confident during interviews.
7. Have a CTAE teacher review your resume' before sending it out!
8. Have a strong handshake.
9. Arrive EARLY for your interview.
10. Look up "interview tips" on a search engine.
11. Research the company that you are trying to work for. Use these facts during your interview.
12. Thank the interviewer for his/her time.
13. Have a squeaky clean social media presence (twitter, facebook, etc.)
